The Polo Cup Ascona

The Polo Cup Ascona will take place for the 3^rd time and will hopefully attract many thousand spectators and visitors  to come and join the event in beautiful Ticino.

Founded in December 2009, our club has worked very hard to establish polo in the most southern county (Kanton) of Switzerland and became a fix date in the Swiss and international polo calendar.

This year again we will see national and international polo stars (polistas) to compete at the old airport of Ascona for the big trophy.

To “feel and enjoy”  polo in a relaxed atmosphere is our goal for this year’s event. With the generous support of our sponsors we were able to organize again such a high class sportive and social event. Our goal is to present the Ascona Polo Cup as a real family event, to demonstrate our guests the elegance and dynamic of this fascinating sport!

Players from Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, Argentina, Italy and India will parade with their horses in the streets of Ascona on Saturday and entertain you during the 3 days on and around the polo ground.
